Since retiring in 2002,
I have finally had more time
to dedicate to my creative talents.
These include painting and drawing, which in 2003 resulted in me taking part in the newly-formed Art and Cultural Circle Wettenberg – KuKuK (Kunst- und Kulturkreis Wettenberg -KuKuK). When the KuKuK officially became a club in 2006, I was elected president, a position I have held since.

Another of my creative skills is cooking. I especially enjoy the light, healthy and extremely flavorful Mediterranean cuisine. I have been giving cooking classes for many years at the Gießen county Adult Education Center (Kreisvolkshochschule des Landkreises Gießen).
I offer cooking classes for small groups in my home (Kochabend)
