Barbara Yeo-Emde 

Originally from the State of Massachusetts, she has been living in Germany for many years. It is here where she received her vocal training, and subsequently sang with the opera in Giessen, Germany for nine years.

In 1998 she left the theater so that she could focus on other creative interests. She have primarily been working freelance as a singer and voice teacher. She immensely enjoys the creative, delicate, and challenging process of teaching her students to sing several music genres with the necessary technique and interpretation.

As a soloist, she has had much success singing concerts and music for other occasions (such as weddings) in the United States, Germany and Italy. Her repertoire is quite varied, spanning Opera, Operetta, Oratoria, Musicals, Jazz, Pop and Gospel.
